Perpustakaan Permata Hikmah

Perpustakaan Permata Hikmah is a vibrant and enriching children's library tailored specifically for the children of UTHM staff aged between 6 and 12 years old. This library is situated at Ground Floor, PTTA.

Operational hours:
- Monday to Thursday at 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm
- Friday at 2.45 pm to 4.30 pm 
- Closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday

Operational hours during School Holiday:
- Monday to Thursday at 9.30 am to 12.30 pm | 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm
- Friday at 9.30 am to 12.15 pm | 2.45 pm to 4.30 pm

Programs and Activities

During school holidays, the library becomes a hub of excitement and discovery, offering a variety of educational and fun-filled programs. These include guided tours, thematic learning sessions, and activities led by the libray staff, all aimed at making the school break meaningful and enriching. 

Flexible Visitor Access

Children can freely walk into the library during opening hours. For educational groups or organizations interested in visiting, arrangements can be made via formal letters, ensuring a well-coordinated and rewarding visit for all participants.

Afternoon Operating Hours (Except During School Holidays)

On regular school days, the library opens only in the afternoon, allowing children to attend after their school hours. During school breaks, operating hours may be adjusted to accommodate extended programming and holiday events.

Equipped with Traditional and Sensory Hand Games

The library is more than just a reading space - it includes interactive features such as traditional Malaysian games and sensory hand play. These activities encourage children to engage with their heritage, improve fine motor skills, and enjoy learning through movement and tactile experiences.
